Notes from GRIN
Small red-striped fruit. Crisp, juicy, sugary, yellowish- white flesh. Excellent flavor. Fine, sturdy tree bears early, regularly and heavily. Ripens mid-September.

Rare old English variety raised from a seed of Newport Pippin imported from America. Introduced 1804.
