Fruit: size large, W76-90 x L58-78 mm; shape intermediate, beautiful, rectangular to truncate conic, convex, ribbed at the calyx basin and on the body; skin pale yellow almost covered with bright orange to scarlet flush, blotched and streaked carmine; flesh firm, crisp, creamy white; flavor spicy, strong aroma. Large dual purpose apple. Pick early Oct., excellent during Nov. for dessert and cooking. Good storage quality. Tree: prolific, hardy, vigorous, scab resistant, suitable for cold, heavy soils, cropping very good and regular. |
