This is a lovely greigii tulip. There are multiple blooms on each stem. On the outside, the petals are cream/pale yellow with a prominent red stripe. Sometimes the flowers bloom when they are just barely above the ground, but fear not, the stems grow to their regular height before the flowers die. They seem pretty long lived to me. I have only grown them for one season, but I dug a few up, and they seem to have multiplied.
