Lowes here in Columbus, Ohio (July-Aug. 2011) (zone 5b/6a) has this daylily and some of them still has stalks with buds on them now. Very beautiful 4"-5" across (not small) very dark purple with yellow fading to green big bright throat. You will not be disappointed!

Saw this at the local Home Depot in 2010 and loved the color so I had to have it.. This year the plant has doubled in size so hope the blooms are many!

I've had tremendous success with this daylily in my zone 4 garden. It blooms consistently and multiples rapidly, despite being listed as an evergreen. It truly is a "Beacon" with it's bright green eye.
