Rare, small Blechnum from central America. New fronds are red then fading to green.Slow growing,mine acheived a "trunk"height of 8" with several pups until the freeze of 07 killed all but one pup. Cold tolerant to low 30's with no damage in years past,32 over a longer period wore down this choice little fern-when other subtropical ferns around it went unfazed. A zone 10 fern.
