Mine has survived drought and temps down around 15 degrees farenheit (without snow cover) and is thriving. Planted in raised bed in full sun, zone 7b.

I got this Salvia from a local Lowe's this year. The back of the tag states it's hardy to -20.

From what I read on the internet, Bodger Botanicals is the company for the Stampede Salvia Series, but was bred by Floranova.

Beautiful! When I got it at Lowe's, the tag said Stampede Series Salvia (Salvia greggii 'Stampede Series') PPAF. It showed 3 different colors on tag, but all the Salvias were only the lavender color.

I bought about 12 plants and planted 9 in 3 different containers and 3 in the ground. I hoping the ones in the ground survive the Winter, since the tag states the cold hardiness to -20.
