I found it to do best when it’s in a pot which is not moved during the growing season. I water it moderately but make sure it is always wet by misting. Once established it can withstand direct sun for a short time. Germination can take from 2 weeks to over a month according to conditions. Growth rate seems best when in a shady area which receives a rising or setting sun for a short period of the day. It gives me a natural way to keep moisture in and a “lawn” for my trees.
