At the time of this posting, we grow dozens of different bamboo on our property. Phyllostachys aurea 'Koi' has been one of the most visually rewarding, even in it's young stage. Our 'grove', if you will, is a mere two years old from a 3-gallon plant, placed near a creek in Spring of 2010.

We are anxious to see this particular bamboo as an established grove years from now. My only regret is not planting it sooner.
