Kiss gazanias are great border or tub plants. They have compact looks with lots of flowers on short stems. They come in many colors and bred to form mounded plants topped with flowers.

Gazanias can be grown as annuals in colder zones or over wintered in zone 9 and 10 especially if kept on the dry side. Great for places where there is well drained sandy soil and infrequent watering. Will flower repeatedly if you keep deadheading. More heavily blooming in spring but will have flowers most always in warmer climates. The flowers will close as the sun goes down or on cloudy days.

This plant has sometimes been perennial for me in zone 8b - some came back, but a few did not. Very nice, though - seems to be pest-free, with pretty flowers and foliage. Low-growing, about 6-8".
