I have both this cultivar and the species. 'Lavender Towers' is more robust than the species, although the species is no slouch. In LT, the lavender is very light however, so it does not really show up as any color but white unless you are very close. It is about 7 ft tall in early June for me and in full bloom. A very nice plant for back of the border. The only issue is that is a bit awkward to stake it so that is doesn't lean over on other plants.
