Hybridizer intro notes:

(Singular Sensation x Zephyrs Song) 35 MRe. emo. Ev. 6 x 4 3/8 x 2 3/8. 5-way branching (2 laterals + W ). 28 buds. Want a $500 breeder for $100? This flower is it! LONESOME HEART is the pod parent of some of the largest white edged pinks in the garden. It gives huge flowers with clear colors, tall well-branched scapes with excellent plant habit. It is the pod parent of my 7 pale pink with a 1 flat green fringey edge. If you hybridize, this is a great flower and it will take a variety of pollens put to it. It seems to want to give green and white edges even when crossed with yellow and gold edges.

As a garden flower LONESOME HEART is wonderful. The very large blooms are displayed well and create tremendous garden impact. Fertile both ways.
