Very nice "Cypress" looking when mature . It has a main stem and small and tiny secondary branches. It grows straight upwards with a big crown when young but loses it at adult stage. The leaves grows smaller and thin as it grows. Some sample can be seen in north- east coast of Madagascar. It likes plenty of water, can be seen often just by the edge of river or swamps. A very good species for tropical garden as it is becoming rare in it's habitats.
