This variety of forsythia blooms abundantly for me from mid-February to mid-March. Mine is planted on northeast side of home where it gets a good winter chilling. It needs watering every 2 weeks or so during our dry season (May-October). No pests or diseases. I occasionally get some late fall to winter bloom as well (November and December), sparser than the spring bloom..
