Originally bought 7 years ago from home depot. Plant was labeled empress dragon tree. Broke in half the first year, moved to another spot. Split in half the 4th year but remained green. Beautiful blooms the following year. Tree was approx. 10 feet tall when it bloomed. Tree has bloomed every year since and is now about 35 feet tall with a 40 foot canopy. Drawbacks are it's leaf drop and the millions of seed that drop in the late fall. None of the seeds have been viable. Great shade tree with no growing problems here in the desert southwest.
