Solitary Socotran species with short stem (upright or pendant) up to 10" long. Leaves thick, fleshy, stff and glaucous blue-green to red tinged. Flowers start red with green tips and turn yellow-orange as they open from the bottom up. Pretty rare in cultivation, but becoming available. Slow growing in my garden.
