I absolutely LOVE this plant! ! ! I have it planted in a shaded garden in lousy clay soil. It has grown and leafed out so beautifully. The color is showy and very bright .... not only the leaves but the stems. I have had so many compliments on how pretty this plant is.

This plant has been root hardy in my zone 7b garden for 3 years. Mine gets better colors with more sun. It never seems to require extra water. A very easy to grow plant. Leave it and forget it. Very nice foliage Mine is planted under a white brugmansia.
