My "Buttercream" cassia floribunda has grown from a 3" pot to 8' H x 10' W in less than 2 years Cuttings have rooted by just being stuck in the ground and watered daily for 2-3 weeks. It is a magnet for the sulphur butterflies in the spring and summer, and has survived temps to 28F in winter. It is a little leggy, so any attempt to shape it as a hedge would seem to require frequent trimmings. Here in zone 9b, I would consider it indestructible!
