Most serious gardener might have encountered this species but not know their name no matter where they are - this species of moss loves exposed soil in certain environment like greenhouse, where most house plants are grown along with other types of plants - you name it, perennials, annuals, etc.

This is a very thin moss, not growing much above the ground, and will grow anywhere in the greenhouse provide there are a bit of soil to grow on. When planted outdoor or put in a non greenhouse environment, this moss will quickly die unless high humidity is provided.
