This is a dianthus with rather unkempt-looking mauve-pink flowers and narrow green foliage to about 4" tall; hardy in zone 3 and blooms throughout the season. The extraordinary thing about it is the intense perfumy fragrance, which is entirely unlike the usual clove-spicy dianthus fragrance.
