We've grown Sugar Cubes for two years now. Our seed came from R.H. Shumway, as they have smaller packets available than does Harris Seeds.

We found Sugar Cube to be very productive and had good flavor. We share lots of melons with neighbors, and Sugar Cube became a favorite for them!

As described by Harris Seeds: "81 Days. Sugar Cube is a small, personal-sized 2 lb. melon that offers the best disease package that any melon variety has to offer. Although Sugar Cube is small, it is big on taste with its deep orange flesh that has a superb eating quality. The fruit will also hold up well after harvest in cool storage. The round fruit have no sutures and medium netting. Resistant to PM (1,2), FW (0,1,2), ZYMV, PRSV and WMV."
