Started vines purchased at RareFind online planted spring 2010. 3 ft seedlings are now about 20ft. Growing on south facing masonry wall. Vines need support for tendrils. Mild 2012 winter in Chicago helped produce heavy bloom this year. Experience leaf die back/drop, but not entire vine. Maroon buds open to yellow throats.
