I'm crazy about this plant, just as I'm crazy about cooking gourmet dishes. Its flavor and smell is perfect for adding to curry chicken, fried salmon, stir-fried asparagus. Can't think of a dish that its leaves can't be used. I stir-fried them more often than using them fresh.
Although it is considered as an annual, my Indian friend has successful kept it indoor for several years; its stump is over an inch thick. Mine is 1/2 inch thick, 2' tall, 3 month old.
