This lovely 'parrot plant' is one of our favorites at the Montgomery County AgriLife Center. We have it growing under a possumhaw holly where it receives morning sun but is shaded from the afternoon sun. Fully expected it to be an annual here because we can get to 20 degrees at night, but every year (this is year four) it has only needed to have the freeze damage cut off. The bottom of the plant is variegated with pink-white-green but the top is pure white. Quite a show-stopper! Saw one in a container at Festival Hill in Roundtop and everyone there was commenting on its beauty.
