I purchased 12 of these in 2005, in 2009 only 2 are still alive. They are NOT very tolerant of zone 5 winters even though they are supposedly a hardy rose. The two that have survived do well every summer. We have horrible sandy/rocky soil in my area so they others may have not liked the conditions the first year.
