Vin Extraordinaire is a very special new seedling from HVH. Vin Extraordinaire's 5-6" flower is a unique combination of a dark, velvety burgundy ringed by a deep, indigo blue - both rare colors in the hibiscus world. It is a slow bloomer, and the blooms last only one day, but they take your breath away like no other hibiscus - as elusive and beautiful as a rare and perfect wine. The bush stays small, and grows in an upright, slender growth pattern. Vin Extraordinaire is the child of Midnight Blue and The Color Purple. Not recommended for beginners, Vin Extraordinaire will be released from HVH in 2009.
