Wow, I received bulbs this spring and now I have the most beautiful flowers. They are dark fuchsia as buds and when open lighten a bit so the combo of open and closed are striking. The tux ruffled center petal is bright pure yellow.
I think I'm in love.
I have two of them in a large shallow pot which is 24" round and 9" deep. The web site I got them from has their hardiness at zone 6 but I still would like to pamper and keep them at eye level. These have been by far the best ground orchid experience I have had!
