I could only find one other comment about this cultivar online so I called Clifford's Perennials & Vines in Michigan and they confirmed that they discovered this cultivar several years ago and named it. They advised me that it had very limited distribution (but yet I got one here in Maryland at a major retailer!).

It is definitely a more compact variety than traditional spiderwort. It has returned very healthy-looking this year (2010) after I planted it towards the end of the summer last year.

I will upload some pictures other than the plant tag I had, once it blooms this year. I am very pleased with it!
