P. lactfloria Pod Parent is "Saunders 1875" (LADY ALEXANDRA DUFF X HOGIOKU); Pollen parent is Paeonia Species LOBATA (PERRY).

The Lobata hybrids may go dormant in summer, which is a consideration for landscape placement.

Ludovica has a large, semi-double, warm rose-pink flower on a short plant.

"Neutral" rating only because mine is new -- I've seen gorgeous photos and am looking forward to seeing it flower!
