This African plant has several medicinal properties though it has been reported to kill live stock if ingested.

After pretty pink flowers, it is covered in showy red berries which mature at Christmas time giving it its name, Christmas Berry.

Generally this plant should be replaced every 3 years as it starts to decline. Can be started by cuttings or by seed.
