Peach-Apricot colored flowers in summertime (June) followed by showy red fruit on this 2 ft. high by 4 ft. wide landscape cactus. The glossy pads are larger than the regular O. phaeacantha with reddish spines and turn purple during colder times. It is a very vigorous grower selected by Claude Barr and could possibly be one of John Cipra's phaeacantha hybrids. Cold hardy down to zone 5. This plant may be available at coldhardycactus.com
