For lack of more details at this time, I will repeat what prairiebreak said in his blog about this unusually beautiful salvia -

"Salvia phlomoides a Spanish and Moroccan species introduced by the redoubtable Mike Kintgen, photographed in his garden in June. It is in the hypargeia/daghestanica/canescens tribe, and probably the best of the lot"
