I bought this plant from a local botanical garden, based on its attractively rugose and fragrant foliage.

I was expecting this plant to show more stress than it has, and I definitely didn't expect it to flower so readily, with tinted white flowers.

It does seem oddly fragile, though, as the two first flower spikes seemingly snapped at the bottom leaf node before the flowers faded, probably from passing foot traffic or tree litter.
