"Brown-skinned 6-8 fruits with clear white flesh impart crisp, mellow flavor sparked with sugary high notes and not a whit of bitterness. Best harvested at 5-7" long. Prolific and hardy." Cook's Garden 65 day. Reputed to be a 19th century Ukranian cultivar.
