This is a fantastic plant! we have always wanted one and finally found a baby one for sale this year. This cultivar 'Gigante' gets 4-6 ft tall, and has beautiful psychedelic blue flowers. I understand their is a purple variety of this 'Gigante' cultivar as well. Both have beautiful lush silvery foliage. Anyone who loves tall beautiful perennials should get this for their Garden! We planted this next to a tall yellow orientpet lily that also gets 6ft tall called 'Conca D' Or' both now under our bluebird house, on the side of our garage, and it looks wonderful, they both compliment each other. Also, keep in mind that since this is a thistle type flower, it can burn out in intense summer heat but it doent need alot of water and shade, and unless it gets cooked all the way down to the base it will come back year after year!!!
