This is a plant I grew from a cutting, it did take several months to root in but now is a growing plant. The new growth is just stunning almost white.
It covers the top of the plant in spring. The contrast between the new growth and the deep green mature growth makes this stand out in the garden.
It is a moderate grower and very easy to take care of in my zone 8 garden.

I was hoping that the whole plant would be golden but it's not, so I am slightly disappointed in this plant. Only new foliage is yellow. Having said this, the plant is aptly named Golden Crown. New foliage does look like little golden crowns throughout the plant. It is striking to watch new foliage but not what I was expecting. Mine is planted in mostly shade with a couple of hours of strong afternoon sun. Doesn't seem bothered by this. Generally, an easy plant.

Also sold under trade name Lemon Sparkler.
