Large perennial from Europe.

Has palmate, dark green leaves borne on upright reddish stems. Bears flussy pale pink, purple or white flower heads.

Flowers July-October

Likes constantly moist soil and is often found near water in Britain. Will tolerate full sun or partial shade.
