Sticky annual from Europe.

Has lance like, grey green leaves and sticky little hairs all over. Bears small, pink flowers with a black striped, balloon like calyx behind them.

Flowers May-July

Likes sandy, well drained, fertile, neutral soil in full sun.

Maybe not an impressive flower but the calyx makes an interesting subject for flower arranging.
