Laddie Boy is first to bloom & then the last to stop blooming here in a cool area of Hawaii. It is more of a watermelon color ( rather than red). It has multiplied faster than any other daylily since we came here. It was a relatively slow grower in Massachusetts.

'Laddie Boy', Hemerocallis, Hybridized by Wild, 1983. This is probably one of the nicest reds coming from Gilbert Wild. It is difficult to describe, however not difficult to like- a lot! Very good growth and bloom habits; completely hardy here. Nice shape and exceptional color!
