This is a really pretty plant that keeps its mounded shape nicely and smells stronger than any other plant in my garden. To me it smells like fresh brewed flavored coffees and makes you want a cup. I smell it everytime I walk by, as far as 6 feet away, especially at night. I purchased it locally in the herb dept. at a private nursery. Trim it back in the spring, otherwise it needs no special care and gets by without watering.

This plant emits its aroma even when unbruised: a very strong curry smell from its foliage. It makes a wonderful addition to containers for its airy foliage; the flowers are fairly insignificant.

It is best used fresh as an herb; drying the leaves removes most of the flavor.
