Neutral Baa On Apr 24, 2002, Baa wrote:

An evergreen Primula from Tibet and China.

Has oblong, toothed, mid-green leaves with a clear rib with yellowish hair underneath. Sometimes the leaves will die back to a dormant bud over winter. Bears pendant, funnel or bell shaped, deep red or deep pink flowers.

Flowers anytime between May - July and sometimes out of season.

Requires a neutral-acid, moist, humus rich soil in partial shade but will take more sun as long as the soil never dries out completely.

Great for a moist woodland garden.
