An upright shrub from China and Tibet.

Has mid - dark green, ovate, toothed or entire leaves on arching, open stems. Bears very scented, white, cup shaped flowers sometimes with light purple on the backs of the sepals.

Flowers May-July

Likes a well drained, fertile soil in sun or partial shade.
