This plant is a champion.

I salavaged it for about $2.00 at last fall's Home Depot clearance. I doubted whether it would make it in the condition it was in but it pulled through the z7 winter just fine.

The golden foliage is very attractive and my plant is doing nicely in part shade.

Wonderful yellow foliage and red stems. Coppice every three years to maintain the red stems. Grow in full sun to maximize the yellow colouring.
