Two sources report that identity of true plant is thoroughly confusing. No description supplied: 1988r by the BHHS.

Listed as a hybrid of H. gracillima X 'Wogon Gold' that begins the season gold, turning green (Diana Grenfell 1990), who also indicated that it has been confused in the trade with 'Sunset', a much smaller gold... Zilis claims to have seen 3 forms in U.S. gardens - 2 sm/md size, and one med/lg - the Hosta Handbook. hostalibrary.org lists pictures of two forms.
