Upright perennial from China, which appears to be fairly new to cultivation.

Has toothed, braodly lance shaped, mid-dark green leaves, conspicuously veined in pale green/white. Bears saucer shaped, cream flowers with a pinkish eye on a pyramidal spire.

Flowers May-July

Likes a moist but well drained, humus rich soil in sull sun or partial shade. Prefers some shade during the hottest part of the day.
