Makes its own unique statement in the dwarf bearded garden. A good pollinator for those hobbying in crosses. A nice SDB from Australia.

A 1990 Blyth introduction this iris found it's way from my wishlist into my garden in 2003. It outshines every picture every taken of it and it is not finicky about location either.

This iris is perfect when paired with a soft blue or lavender neighbor. Subtle but rich, the color is dusky pink with bushy, cornflower-blue beards. Vigorous and substantial. A very pretty little iris for early spring. About 12" tall. Recommended.
