It's a pretty Iris, not as blue as some pictures show, and not as purple as others. It's really just a nice medium violet. It needs staking, though, mine is flopping over.

(Lauer, 92) Early to Mid season bloom. 38" Rebloom and fragrant.
"Standards are medium blue with a white infused midrib. Falls are medium blue with a white splash at the beard end. Beards are white. Continuous rebloom beginning in summer through fall. American Iris Society Honorable Mention '94; Award of Merit '96."
