A perennial Pink from Europe and Asia.

Has linear to lance shaped, greyish to mid green, smooth leaves. Bears deeply dissected, single, scented, pink, lilac or very occasionally white flowers.

Flowers June - September

Loves well drained, fertile, neutral to alkaline soil in full sun or partial shade. In fact it often grow in light shade in the wild. Hates winter wet and will show disapproval by disappearing rapidly.

Beautiful flowers but has an untidy habit.
