SSE offers this one. Nigella first appeared in England around 1570. Has been known by such odd names as Love-Entangle and Jack-in-Prison. This self-seeding hardy annual grows 18-24" tall.

This is a self-sowing annual in my 4B/5A area, and I found it to be quite the thug after the first year! I adore blue flowers of most every kind, but honestly I did NOT like the behavior of this one at all! I sowed seeds (one packet!) 5 years ago and am STILL pulling babies! In the first! year after the initial sowing, it overran many perennials, and flung itself into lawn, thirty feet from the beds!
