Extremely damaging invasive exotic plant which should never be planted. In the northwest it is just getting started. It kills trees and overruns native habitat. Please do not plant and do your best to destroy it if you have it on your property. Several years of cutting to the ground or pulling up will eventually do the trick. It is harder to get rid of than ivy.

An easy clematis vine with starry white flowers a little earlier than Sweet Autumn Clematis. Vigorous grower.
This is a native wildflower in Britain, it can cover shrubs and small trees so that they appear to be huge flowering Clematis bushes. In the autumn it is covered in grey, fluffy seedheads about 3" across. Common name: Old Man's Beard.
