This was my Father's favorite in the 30's and 40's as it will hang on the vine and not get tough (fibrous) even into the shell bean stage. Other wise it is very similar to Burpee's Stringless Green Pod. It yields well for a cultivar of its vintage. It has been surpassed by more recent introductions, but still good for the home garden.
